Stars & Flip Hoppers
(Age 4-5)

We are so excited to share dance with your 4-5 year old! If your child is a VPK eligible or Kindergarten dancer, they can choose from the following two styles of dance: Stars and Flip Hoppers! Is your dancer already a 1st grader? Check out our Pre classes!

Stars classes are for beginning dancers or for those who have taken a Starlets class. Dancers will dance to some of the same songs they've grown to love in Starlets, with additional attention to technique and variations of movement. Dancers are challenged by counting in class, working on motor skills such as balancing on one foot, hopping on one foot, skipping and more!

 

Is your child looking for the basics of hip hop and acro? Flip Hoppers is for them! In this class, your dancer will be introduced to acrobatic mats, begin working toward forward rolls and cartwheels all while learning to groove through isolations and strength building.

 

Stars & Flip Hoppers will have an assistant in class and will dance with an assistant on stage at recital. Ballet/ tap and hip hop/acro are available as combination classes at this age.
