Star Baby & Me

We would love to introduce your little one to dance! Our Star Baby & Me class is a wonderful way for little ones that are walking without help to explore music and movement with the comfort of a dance partner that your toddler already knows, loves and trusts. Each toddler will enjoy class with their own grownup - dad, mom, grandparent, nanny or any other trusted adult! Grownups in class have the option of fully participating in movement or just guiding their own dancer as they follow instructions.

For this class, there is no required dress code. Both grownup and toddler should dress comfortably and plan to dance barefoot.

Our Star Babies start to make connections between music and movement with songs that directly relate to their actions. Your tiny dancer will get to march like a dinosaur and fly like a butterfly! The first 45 minutes of class will include directed instruction followed by 15 minutes of free play to make new friends and interact with dance props.

This class was created to help young dancers socialize, become familiar with the dance environment and to start to build independence with the hopes of joining our Starlets class when they are 2 1/2 and fully potty trained. Our Star Baby & Me curriculum introduces songs and movement from our Starlets program to help with this transition.
